The EOS 650 was Canon’s first EOS camera, marketed in March 1987. It is a 35 mm autofocus SLR using the EF lens system, with electronic communication between body and lens.
Variant note
The EOS 650 QD, released in September 1987, adds a quartz date back. It is a related variant, not simply another spelling of the standard body.
